We have already posted the Intel Core i5 and i7 Sony notebook models and today is Intel Core i3’s turn. It was Sebastian Jentsch at NotebookCheck that tested ony Vaio S11 VPC-S11M1E 13.3 inch Intel Core i3 Notebook. After extended testing he came to the conclusion that the Sony Vaio S11 VPC-S11M1E can’t really be taken seriously as a road warrior due to it’s short battery life. It managed just over 2.5 hours in the Wireless web surfing test. So if you are after notebook with long battery life you are better of with an Intel CULV powered notebook that would also be marginally cheaper. But if you are willing to compromise the performance for battery life then the Vaio S11 doesn’t look that bad choice anymore although let’s not forget that you could get an even better perfomer by purchasing also a Sony Vaio Z VPCZ114GX/S 13.1 inch notebook that features Intel Core i5 but you will have to reach even deeper in your pocket to get a hold on of those.
