It’s no secret that Dell Thunder is real thanks to recent leaks and it’s no secret either that it created quite a buzz on the web thanks to its looks. No official specs have been announced yet but it definitely is set to be a desirable handset once released into the public. Bear in mind that this is just a prototype so the final product might change slightly and we expect Dell to customise the UI rather then stick to stock Google Android interface. We normally don’t post rumours and leaks as we would hate to tease you with desirable devices that might never happen but this one is just to sexy to pass up. Engadget got exclusive video and photos of the yet-to-be-confirmed Dell Thunder smartphone prototype that featured 8 megapixel digital camera with flash, Google Android 2.1 and  4.1 inch OLED  display (480×800px). Let’s hope the final model will feature a 2.2 version of Google Androd – Froyo. So if the Dell Thunder turned out to be true then probably other previously leaked Dell devices will turn true as well – Lightning the Windows 7 Phone smartphone, Looking Glass the 7 inch Google Android Tablet and two more Google Android smartphones the Flash and Smoke.

Yes it’s finally here available to order; or is it? Very few lucky customers managed to get their hands on an iPhone 4 without pre-ordering but the ones that did sure have something to be cheerful about as according to Edward Chester’s review the iPhone 4 is still by far best smartphone out there and so is the new iOS 4 operating system.

With T-Mobile announcing that it will offer iPhone 4 3 was the last major provider in the UK without an iPhone deal. Not any more though as today it officially announced  that it will offer iPhone 4 starting with June 15 pre-orders. Now that everyone is in it will be interesting to see how they will lay out the tariffs. Will we be facing iPhone tariff war or will we have a repeat of the iPhone 3GS deals where everyone just matched O2’s offers. We are especially curious about what 3  will come up with as it is known to usually have cheaper offers then others. Currently you can bag a free HTC Hero for £16/month including unlimited internet, skype and 3-to-3 calls.

First T3 served up a hands-on video review of the Dell ‘Streak’ Mini 5 and now they’ve just release a full review on this 5 inch tablet/smartphone that runs Google Android 1.6 (2.2 update to be released later this year). Overall they were very impressed with it and thought that it perfectly bridges the gap between a smartphone and a tablet. Read full story for more details.

Motorola confirmed the release of the previously leaked Motorola Flipout Android 2.1 Smartphone. Motorola Flipout feature a 2.8 inch (240 x 320 px) screen, QWERTY keyboard, a 3 megapixel digital camera with flash and the connectivity will be taken care of by Wi-Fi, 7.2 Mbps HSDPA and aGPS. It should be available this summer from Orange in a wide choice of colors  from green, red, blue and white. Hope to see hands-on soon as it does look like a innovative device to us.

It will feature a 5 inch screen, 5 megapixel digital camera, 1GHz snapdragon processor, Google Android (version yet to be confirmed) and will be exclusive to O2 in UK. We don’t mention Nokia’s touchscreen mobile phones often when someone asks us for a touchscreen shopping advice. There is a reason for that – the outdated Symbian operating system. Nokia is trying to find a way into the touchscreen mobile phone elite by developing a new Symbian 3 handset the Nokia N8. While still a prototype it does look promising. iPhone OS, Google Android and Windows 7 Phone Series might be stealing most headlines in the mobile os space but that doesn’t mean that Palm’s WebOS is not on par with its competition.
