Sebastian Jentsch at NotebookCheck posted a review on the Samsung P530 Pro 15.6 inch Notebook. His verdict was that the Samsung P530 Pro is a solid and durable 15.6 inch notebook.  It features a good laid out keyboard, low heat and noise emissions and an Intel Core i3 processor which isn’t as fast as the Core i5 and i7 processors featuring TurboBoost but is completely adequate. There are some drawbacks such as low capacity battery (4,000 mAh) which produces just enough juice for about 3 hours of general use and lack of dedicated graphics.

Cliff Smith at TrustedReviews posted a review on the Samsung WB650 12 megapixel Digital Camera. It features a 15x optical zoom, built-in GPS, 24 – 360 mm wide lens and 720p HD video recording. His conclusion was that in many aspects the Samsung WB650 is better than the Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ10 as it features longer zoom range, the built-in GPS is more accurate and epic battery life, while both build quality and handling are nothing short of excellent. But when it comes down to image quality Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ10 is better especially when comparing noise at any ISO level.

Just today a friend asked which compact digital camera I would recommend to buy and I just realized it is not easy these days to recommend just one as all manufacturers pretty much are producing decent cameras according to the RRP and the Samsung WB1000 12 megapixel digital camera continues the trend. Cliff Smith posted a review and his conclusion was the Samsung was ambitious when they built the Samsung WB1000.
