As we mentioned before we love our HTC Hero mobile phone so we are very excited to see how it’s successor will perform. Edward Chester at TrustedReviews posted a review on the HTC Legend Google Android Touchscreen Smartphone and his conclusion was that the HTC Legend is without any doubts the best Google Android handset so far due to its responsive touchscreen, aluminium chassis and a great set of features. But it might not be best for long as both Google Nexus and HTC Desire are about to debut as well.

Alienware M17x 17 inch Intel Core i7 Gaming Notebook Review

Alienware M17x 17 inch Intel Core i7 Gaming Notebook Review

Alienware amazed us couple of weeks ago with world first portable gaming notebook the Alienware M11x now it’s ready to blow us away or better said blow your competition away with Alienware M17x Intel Core i7 17 inch gaming notebook that packs 1 GB ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4870 X2 dedicated graphics chip which scored 15151 points in 3Dmark06. Florian Glaser at NotebookCheck thinks that  the Alienware M17x delivers amazing performance thanks to the overclocked Intel Core i7-620M 2.66GHz and ATI Radeon HD 4870 X2. It features a solid aluminium chassis design that stays pretty much all the time. There are some glitches though such as loud noise, heavy weight and some software and graphics driver crashes. We can digest the noise and weight it’s a gaming notebook after all but crashing is not acceptable especially if it the middle of a an intense fight that you are about to win. So Alienware and ATI get to work on fixing those drivers as fast as your notebook is.

Toshiba Satellite T130-11H 13.3 inch Intel CULV Notebook Review

Toshiba Satellite T130-11H 13.3 inch Intel CULV Notebook Review

Yesterday we posted review on the 11.6 inch Toshiba Satellite T110-10R Intel CULV notebook and today its bigger 13.3 inch brother is in the spotlight. It’s pretty much the same machine running the disappointing Intel Core SU2700 single core processor but in a slightly bigger case. We had problems getting the 11.6 inch single core notebook so we have even bigger problems getting a bigger one and Andy Vandervell at TrustedReviews that posted the review somewhat agrees with us as the overall rating given to the Toshiba Satellite T130-11H 13.3 inch Intel CULV Notebook is 5/10. Back to the drawing board Toshiba. And while you are at it replace the glossy plastic palm rest as it is a fingerprint magnet like the world has never seen.

Felix Sold at NotebookCheck posted a review on the Toshiba Satellite T110-10R 11.6 inch Intel CULV Notebook. He thinks the Toshiba Satellite T110-10R looks good and is a well built notebook. The hardware isn’t anything to shout about as it features a single core Intel CULV SU2700 1.3 GHz but as the result of this it can achieve a 10 hour battery life. We thinks that if one is happy enough with a single core CPU should go for a netbook so manufacturers should really only pack dual core CPUs in notebooks. This is 2010 so we all like and need multi-tasking. Hopefully Toshiba will realise that and in update the T110 series with a dual core as deserved by otherwise this attractive notebook.

Acer also joins the Intel Pine Trail party with Acer Aspire One 532 10.1 inch Netbook. Felix Sold at NotebookCheck posted a review and thinks that the aside from longer battery life that Intel Pine Trail brings there is nothing special about the Acer Aspire One 532 apart from stylish and somewhat elegant chassis design.

Have you always wished for a QWERTY mobile phone but don’t like the serious looks and high price tag of BlackBerries? Love to twittering and facebooking? Then you will love the cheap and cheerful Samsung Genio Qwerty GT-B3210 Social Networking Mobile Phone. Edward Chester at TrustedReviews posted a review and thinks that the Samsung Genio GT-B3210 mobile phone certainly doesn’t offer most features found in business QWERTY smartphones but it does positively surprises with the quality of its QWERTY keyboard and the inclusion of the 3.5 mm headphone jack.

Sony Vaio S11 VPC-S11M1E 13.3 inch Intel Core i3 Notebook Review

Sony Vaio S11 VPC-S11M1E 13.3 inch Intel Core i3 Notebook Review

We have already posted the Intel Core i5 and i7 Sony notebook models and today is Intel Core i3’s turn. It was Sebastian Jentsch at NotebookCheck that tested ony Vaio S11 VPC-S11M1E 13.3 inch Intel Core i3 Notebook. After extended testing he came to the conclusion that the Sony Vaio S11 VPC-S11M1E can’t really be taken seriously as a road warrior due to it’s short battery life. It managed just over 2.5 hours in the Wireless web surfing test. So if you are after notebook with long battery life you are better of with an Intel CULV powered notebook that would also be marginally cheaper. But if you are willing to compromise the performance for battery life then the Vaio S11 doesn’t look that bad choice anymore although let’s not forget that you could get an even better perfomer by purchasing also a Sony Vaio Z VPCZ114GX/S 13.1 inch notebook that features Intel Core i5 but you will have to reach even deeper in your pocket to get a hold on of those. Decision, decision, decisions…

Sony Vaio F11 VPC-F11Z1/E 16.4 inch Intel Core i7 Multimedia Notebook Review

Sony Vaio F11 VPC-F11Z1/E 16.4 inch Intel Core i7 Multimedia Notebook Review

Sunday, 28 February 2010 by Vito

We recently posted a review on the new Sony’s notebook featuring latest Intel platform the Sony Vaio Z VPCZ114GX/S that features Intel Core i5 this time we have a review on the 16.4 inch Intel Core i7 packing multimedia powerhouse the Sony Vaio F11 VPC-F11Z1/E. Not only it is an ultimate multimedia notebook but due to nVidia GeForce GT 330M dedicate graphics it actually can handle latest games if you don’t push the graphics settings to high. So what exactly does it bring to the table (yes literally to the table as it is a bit to big to fit in your lap) for the RRP €1,499. Sebastian Jentsch at NotebookCheck is able to answer our questions. In his review he found out that Sony Vaio F11 VPC-F11Z1E is a powerful notebook thanks to the Intel Core i7 720QM quad-core processor and dedicated nCidia GeForce GT 330M graphics. It offers abundance of connectivity such as HDMI, eSATA, SPDIF and FireWire. Oh and there is 8 GB of RAM and 64 bit Windows 7.

Dell Mini 1012 netbook isn’t the only netbook in town that features the Broadcom Crystal Video Accelerator chip. Now the HP Mini 210 HD packs one as well. Joanna Stern at Engadget spent some time with it and found out that even though its ClickPad was frustrating to use the HP Mini 210 HD offers an attractive design, comfortable keyboard and a decent 7 hour battery life. As far as for the Broadcom chip it brings some advantage over Intel GMA 3150 graphics but it doesn’t offer the same perfomance that nVidia ION does.
