It’s no secret that Dell Thunder is real thanks to recent leaks and it’s no secret either that it created quite a buzz on the web thanks to its looks. No official specs have been announced yet but it definitely is set to be a desirable handset once released into the public. Bear in mind that this is just a prototype so the final product might change slightly and we expect Dell to customise the UI rather then stick to stock Google Android interface. See the video below and let us know if you love the handset as much as we do or maybe it isn’t exactly your cup of tea. Thanks go to Engadget for the video.

We normally don’t post rumours and leaks as we would hate to tease you with desirable devices that might never happen but this one is just to sexy to pass up. Engadget got exclusive video and photos of the yet-to-be-confirmed Dell Thunder smartphone prototype that featured 8 megapixel digital camera with flash, Google Android 2.1 and  4.1 inch OLED  display (480×800px). Let’s hope the final model will feature a 2.2 version of Google Androd – Froyo. So if the Dell Thunder turned out to be true then probably other previously leaked Dell devices will turn true as well – Lightning the Windows 7 Phone smartphone, Looking Glass the 7 inch Google Android Tablet and two more Google Android smartphones the Flash and Smoke.

First Dell released a 13.3 inch Dell Inspiron M301z AMD-powered notebook and now it released a smaller 11.6 inch Dell Inspiron M101z notebook that is powered by an AMD platform as well. Similar to its bigger brother it offers great build quality, good keyboard and good performance thanks to a 1.3 GHz AMD Athlon II Neo K325 processor and ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4225 integrated graphics. As we have come to expect from AMD low voltage platforms outperform Intel’s offerings but are more power hungry so if battery life is your number one priority then you should look away from the Dell Inspiron M101z otherwise this is a great little notebook.

Dell launched the AMD powered 13.3 inch Dell Inspiron M301z back in May and now guys over at NotebookCheck posted a review. Their verdict was that the Dell Insprion M301z is a capable 13.3 inch notebook with fast performance thanks to the fast 7200 rpm hard drive and the 1.5 GHz dual core AMD Turion II Neo K625. But bare in mind that this is a CULV processor so if you need a true performer you will need to look elsewhere and the same goes for the battery life as it packs a relatively small capacity battery (44 Wh) that is enough for up to 4.5 hours that is decent but is not exactly a marathon runner.

Andy Vandervell posted a review on the Dell Inspiron 13z notebook. His verdict was that at first Dell Inspiron 13z has lots to offer starting with affordable price, integrated optical drive and good overall performance. But unfortunately it fails to deliver when it comes to chassis design which is pretty much dull and also if you are looking for all day battery life you would be better of with of a Sony VAIO Y series.
