No longer corporate world needs to suffer from boring black notebooks (Yes, Lenovo we are looking at you) thanks to HP’s latest ProBook S-series. Aside from being updated with latest Intel Core i3, i5 and i7 platforms they also bring refreshed chassis design that features brushed aluminium in either brown or red color schemes. It’s not i7, not even i5 but that doesn’t mean that Intel Core i3 doesn’t deliver enough power for all of your needs what also Sebastian Jentsch at NotebookCheck found out when he tested the Asus K52JR-SX059V 15.6 inch Intel Core i3 Notebook. He found out that the Asus K52JR-SX059V is a very efficient multimedia notebook and the Core i3-350M is superior to the Core 2 Duo processor when compared at the same clock rate.

Sebastian Jentsch at NotebookCheck posted a review on the Samsung NP-R580-JS03DE 15.6 inch Multimedia Notebook. He thinks the Samsung R580 Aura Hawk brings value for money as at €800 offers Intel Core i5-520M 2.40 GHz, nVidia Geforce GT 330M dedicated graphics and large 500 GB hard drive.

We were so impressed with the Asus UL50Vf notebook that we decided to post the review of the UK model as well which is Asus UL50Vt that is pretty much identical to the UL50Vf apart from featuring a 500 GB hard drive and Windows 7 Professional compared to the 320 GB hard drive and Windows 7 Home Premium that is found in the UL50Vf. Rory Reid at Cnet was first to post the review of the UK version and he thinks the Asus UL50Vt is a great notebook as it features an attractive design and is quite fast. It might not be the cheapest in it’s class but if you have the extra money you should definitely seriously consider it.

Florian Glaser at NotebookCheck posted a review on the Dell Studio 1558 HD4570 15.6 inch Intel Core i5 Notebook . He thinks the Dell Studio 1558 is a very good good notebook due to some very good features. Its batteryt life is very decent with an optional 9 cell battery and the full HD screen produces great picture with good contrast and brightness. On top of that the build quality is excellent, it offers various color options and lit keyboard (optional) and it also delivers all the right connection ports, decent sound from integrated speakers and the 2.4 GHz Intel Core i5-520M makes sure the whole system runs smoothly.
