To show that tablets aren’t the only new exciting products at Computex 2010 Asus showed of the 11.6 inch Lamborghini VX6 netbook that will feature a dual core Intel Atom D525 and nVidia Ion 2 graphics while the 15.6 inch VX7 will feature an Intel Core i7 processor and yet-to-confirmed powerful nVidia gaming graphics. No longer corporate world needs to suffer from boring black notebooks (Yes, Lenovo we are looking at you) thanks to HP’s latest ProBook S-series. Aside from being updated with latest Intel Core i3, i5 and i7 platforms they also bring refreshed chassis design that features brushed aluminium in either brown or red color schemes. Meanwhile the Apple iPad is stealing most of the headlines on the technology websites we at HandsOnReviews are way more excited about the soon-to-be-released Alienware M11x 11.6 inch Gaming Portable Notebook. It will feature an Intel dual core processor and nVidia GeForce GT 335M dedicated graphics. To achieve claimed battery life of 6+ hours it will switch to an Intel integrated graphics when the nVidia’s ship won’t be necessary. All this starting at $799 (£499) but the way manufacturers usually convert currencies it will probably start more at like £599. Guys over at Cnet got some hands-on time with this notebook. Just to clarify  something with Cnet and other websites. This is an (ultra)portable notebook and not a netbook. Last time we checked netbook featured an Intel Atom or any other AMD/VIA equivalent processor and not a dual core processor.

Asus was showing of its latest gaming notebook the Asus 17.3 inch G733Jh. It features state-of-the-art hardware including an Intel Core i7 processor and ATI Mobility Radeon 5870 dedicated graphics so there should be no worries regarding gaming performance. It is also surprisingly quiet and reasonable cool during heavy use. I personally can’t wait for the full review to see how it performs.

Andy Vandervell at TrustedReviews posted a review on the Acer Aspire 3935-744G25MN 13.3 inch Notebook. He thinks there’s a lot to like about the Acer Aspire 3935. Guys over at Engadget posted some hands-on photos of the Asus UL80 thin-and-light notebook and the Asus N61Vg multimedia notebook.

The Asus UL80 features a new Intel dual-core CULV SU7300 processor, up to 12 hour battery life, switchable integrated and dedicated graphics and an optical drive. Prices start at $849.

The Asus N61Vg features a new chasis design with a pleasant rubberized palm rest, multi-touch touchpad, 16-inch screen adn an Intel Core 2 Quad processor. machine. Prices start at $1,049.
