Rory Reid at Cnet posted a review on the freshly baked Apple Mac Mini unibody desktop. His verdict was that the new Apple Mac mini really is a great looking computer thanks to Apple’s unibody aluminium design. But it’s not just a looker as it’s hardware got upgraded as well with most attention to graphics that come in courtesy of nVidia GeForce 320M. The only downside really is what all Apple products share – the price but then again what is the price of your friends’ faces when they will see you with one.

We loved nVidia ION’s performance but not so much with battery life that it offered compared to Intel’s netbook platform. Next generation ION2 platform aims to set things right with featuring nVidia Optimus technology to offer performance when needed using nVidia’s graphic chip and battery life by using Intel’s integrated graphics. But unfortunately Intel’s GMA 3150 is not compatible with nVidia Optimus technology so we will have to wait for next generation of Intel’s platform to see best of both worlds.
