Frank Lewis at Cnet posted a review on the LG GM750 Windows Mobile 6.5 Touchscreen Smartphone. He likes the LG GM750 due to its small form factor and attractive design but unfortunately the handset simply can’t cope that well with resource hungry S-Class interface and Windows Mobile. And that’s not all. He finds the touchscreen annoyingly unresponsive so he can’t really recommend this phone even though it’s priced very attractively.

Mass Effect 2 Review

Mass Effect 2 Review

We absolutely loved the first Mass Effect. It kept us awake during nights with its deep story and great visuals. So we were very excited when we received our Mass Effect 2 copy in the post one day before the official release in retail stores (gotta love the pre-orders at Game UK). We opted for the Collector’s Edition that brings extra content and body armor and we have to say it was worth extra £10. We didn’t have time to complete the game yet as (un)fortunately we have real jobs and girlfriends that require a lion’s share of our daily activities so we can’t give you the complete picture of the game but luckily our friends at TrustedReviews got us covered. Hit the link to read the review.

A flood of Intel Pine Trail netbooks continues with Asus Asus Eee PC 1008P Seashell 10.1 inch Netbook. Felix Sold at NotebookCheck spend some time with it and posted an in-depth review. He thinks Asus Eee PC 1008P brings positive experience to the table with decreased power consumption that results in an increased battery life (up to 13.5 hours) compared to the Asus’s own Intel Pine Trail Eee PC 1005P. Other then battery life and exclusive design by Karim Rashid wich we at HandsOnReviews have never heard of (but we do have to admit it does look very classy) it is yet another 10.1 inch netbook featuring a 250 GB hard drive and 1 GB RAM.

Allison Johnson at NotebookReview posted hands-on photos and first impressions on the Olympus E-PL1 12 megapixel Digital Pen Camera and he even posted a video! He thinks if the Micro Four Thirds digital camera range is where dSLR and Point-and-Shoot digital cameras meet then the Olympus E-PL1 is definitely the most Point-and-Shoot oriented camera in this category. It doesn’t offer the same sophistication as its predecessors but it does feature almost all of the same the same functions and adds a built-in flash and a lower price.

Rory Reid at Cnet posted a review on the MSI GT640 15.4 inch Gaming Notebook. He thinks the MSI GT640 notebook is not exactly the fastest gaming notebook in the world but it is fast enough to handle any task you throw at it including gaming. thing you throw at it, including games. If you don’t care so much about the design this notebook is definitely worth considering as it is noticeably cheaper then most if its main rivals.

Sony VPC-X11S1E/B 11.1 inch Ultraportable Notebook Review

Sony VPC-X11S1E/B 11.1 inch Ultraportable Notebook Review
Posted in Notebook Reviews, Notebooks
Wednesday, 03 February 2010 by Vito

Sony VPC-X11S1E/B 11.1 inch Ultraportable Notebook is in every way a netbook but because of an extremely high price it doesn’t fall nowhere near netbook category. Is it worth the money? We don’t think so. No matter how good computer is you simply can’t pay £1,300 for a notebook with Intel Atom and pathetic Intel GMA 500 integrated graphics. But in case that you disagree with us read the Florian Wimmer’s review at NotebookCheck. He pretty much is asking himself as well why would you buy a notebook that costs for 5 netbooks and delivers even shorter battery life then most netbooks. The answer is obvious. Whoever looks for something that will make a fashion statement. Do you?
